Cauliflower Crust Pizza

This delicious, grain-free cauliflower pizza base is so easy to make you'll be doing it weekly!

Yields1 ServingDifficultyBeginner
 5 cauliflower rice (roughly 1 - 1 1/2 cauliflower heads)
 2 organic eggs
 1 garlic clove, chopped
Herbs and spices of your choice; oregano, dill, thyme, rosemary, Changing Habits Turmeric, Changing Habits Chilli Powder
Optional Add In: grated cheddar cheese, goat or sheep cheese or mozzarella cheese
1

Add cauli florets to a food processor and process until it resembles a rice appearance

2

Steam the cauliflower rice until cooked. You will need to line the colander as the rice may fall through (I used a cheese cloth)

3

While this is steaming, get your pizza trays ready. Cut baking paper to size and rub Changing Habits Coconut Oil on both sides to make it stick.

4

Once the rice has cooked, strain all the excess fluid from the cauliflower rice with the cheese cloth (you may have to wait until it has cooled down a bit).

5

Add all other ingredients and chosen herbs and spices to the cooked, cooled and (de-watered) cauliflower rice. Mix through

6

Spoon the mixture onto your trays and mould into a round pizza shape (the mixture is a bit mushy now but will cook through with the egg)

7

Place in the oven at 180C and cook until golden brown (roughly 30 Minutes to 40 Minutes)

8

Once golden, add your favourite healthy toppings and place back in the oven until the toppings are ready.

9

Serve and enjoy!

Hi Andrea, to be honest we have never tried freezing it, you could trial it and see how it goes 🙂

Could you use flaxseed meal in place of the eggs in this recipe?

      Hi Sherry,
We have not tried this, but if you were to try it I would also recommend adding in grated mozzarella cheese, as this will also act as a binder. I hope it works for you 🙂
